Five materials
Nothing here is a shell around something cheaper
No foam dip over cast iron, no plastic pads, no sand where metal belongs. Every part is a material you can identify by looking at it, which also means you can tell when it needs attention.

Anodised Aluminium
6061 aluminium, hard-anodised rather than painted, so the colour is in the surface and cannot chip off onto your floor. Light for its stiffness, and it does not rust in a bag with a wet towel.

Stainless Steel
304 stainless for weights, cores and hardware. Dense enough that a 2 lb weight is genuinely small in the hand, and it takes a knurl that stays grippy when your palms are damp.

Technical Knit
Recycled nylon and elastane knitted to a dense, opaque hand and finished with flatlock seams. Squat-tested for opacity in every colour we make, the pale ones included.

Natural Rubber
Sap-tapped natural rubber for mats, bands and feet. Dense enough to stay put on a hard floor, and free of the plastic smell that comes off PVC for the first month.

Combed Cotton
Long-staple combed cotton for socks, towels and ties. It absorbs, it washes hot, and it does not go slick with sweat the way polyester does.
How all of this ages
Natural materials change. Saying so before you buy is the difference between a product that developed character and one that looks broken.
Two things to know before ordering
- Natural rubber and natural latex appear in the mats, the bands, the resistance-bar cords, the massage balls, the core wheel tyre and the grip on the socks. If you have a latex allergy, the loop bands are the latex-free alternative.
- The Wrap Cardigan is boiled merino wool and is the one item here that is not machine washable. If that matters, it is on its product page too.
