A sprung arch trainer cast in aluminium, for the small intrinsic foot work that everything standing is built on. You press the dome down against a steel spring and control the return, which is the part that does the work.
Classic apparatus, made properly and sized to keep on a shelf. Cast metal rather than moulded plastic, so it does not flex under the load and give you a false range.

Care

- Keep the spring dry; a drop of light machine oil once a year if it starts to sing.
