A foam roller built around a hard-anodised aluminium tube rather than a hollow plastic pipe, so it does not oval out under load after a few months and start rolling with a wobble.
The shell is a moulded EVA with a low-relief grid — enough texture to work along a muscle, not so much that it is unusable on a first pass.
